DIAGNOSTIC TESTS, PATIENT FOLLOW-UPS & RELATED

This page (and subpages) is designed for several purposes. The first is to advise ACC patients and treating physicians about the various Diagnostic Tests and Follow-Ups we are currently recommending. We provide a link below to our “Diagnostics/Follow-ups To Do” page with detailed information on that subject. There is also a separate shorter “Diagnostics / Follow-Ups To Do - Summary” page. Another similar (shorter) summary can be found (with a number of other subjects) in the middle of the “Patient To-Do List” page of this website, as well.

The second purpose of this page is to include any literature or published information related to diagnostics for ACC and Salivary Gland cancer cases specifically. That section includes literature/publications on any subject we think may have specific relevance for ACC patients. The third purpose of these pages is to educate patients (to a limited degree) about the details of various diagnostic tests and procedures IN GENERAL. You can read that information by clicking on the “All About Diagnostic Tests in General” link below.
